What comes to your Mind after reading the above?
Funny?Weird?Guilt?Pained or just plain Stupidity?
Well when i first saw this i read it over and over and over again and guess what i felt..PAIN
I'm not yet a mother but to a large extent i could understand the inquisitive nature of this child.
So here goes my question to some Mothers?
Why should you 'Entrust' your children with your maids when you can't even leave your home without locking your bedroom door? Are your accessories and clothes more precious than your child/children?or is that Job of yours more important than the child you carried for 9 months?
You all may be wondering why i'm ranting on this issue since i'm not a mother,i'll tell you,its because i feel for the children who have been forcefully kidnapped by their maids,i feel for the children who have been molested under the supervision of their caregivers ,some have even been killed by these helps.Just recently in Port Harcourt city where i live,a 3 yr old boy was kidnapped by the maid that was meant to take care of him but for Gods prompt intervention, they were found just when she was about selling him,as at last week in Lagos city same thing happened.Have you all forgotten about that video of a maid beating a 1 yr old baby that went viral, that baby died eventually, although justice was served but it cant bring back the baby's life.
Proffering solution to the women who are guilty of this will be senseless because as a woman and mother you should be able to come up with tangible ways to nurse your child yourself without the help of a maid.. Make that Sacrifice! ! Say No to Maids!!
Enough Ranting....May the remaining days of the week be fruitful for you.
Cheers.....

Awesome piece indeed
I like your opinion on this. Mothers need to be very careful especially wit the increasing rate of kidnapping.
